About Me: I am very passionate about our salon and having a job that I love. I enjoy helping our clients with anything and everything. I also enjoy to catch up on as many new TV series as I can!
My Favorite Part of Working at Andres: My favorite part about working at Andres’ is coming into work everyday with a group of professional women and getting to pamper our clients as if they were family.
Elli Vanias

About Me: I am happily married to my lovely husband since 1982, the same year Andres’ opened its doors, and we have three grown children together. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my two adorable grandkids.
My Favorite Part of Working at Andres: My favorite part about working at Andres’ is getting to talk to our clients and learn as much about them and others as possible. I enjoy coming into work with my second family.
Cynthia Andre
Position: Accounting, Master Esthetician, Nail Technician & Massage Therapist

About Me: Being the oldest I always strive for positive change and never seem to except status quo. I get great pleasure from giving and always try to be helpful when possible.
My Favorite Part of Working at Andres: Andres has taught me so much about life, business and people. It has given me the opportunity to meet and become friends with so many special people and for that I am so grateful.
Sam Hughes
Position: Licensed Cosmetologist

About me: I’ve been doing hair and nails for a little over 10 years and don’t want to stop! I love making people feel better about themselves whether it be through your appearance or our conversations. I have two handsome cats, Tony and Sebastian, who love to go on walks in their stroller with mommy. I can’t wait to meet you!
My Favorite Part of Working at Andres: We like to have fun and laugh. It makes a difference if you like the people you work with and enjoy what you do. They’re all awesome people who care about what they do!
DeDe Weah
Position: Nail Apprentice

About Me: To say the least, I’m an aspiring nail technician who LOVES Pink. When I’m not doing nails, I’m painting or doing a fun d.i.y. project. I have a 1-year-old son. His name is Macaroni & Cheese, and he’s the most handsomest American Pitbull terrier I know.

With 40+ years in business some clients have been coming since before I was born, and I love hearing the fun stories they have.
Emma Reed
Position: Front Desk Receptionist
Three Words to Describe Me: Hard-working, Attentive, and Adventurous
About Me: While I’ve gotten my hair done here for years, I’ve been working at Andres since November 2022 and I have had an absolute blast! I was born and raised in Richmond, but I currently attend the University of Delaware and will be graduating in the Spring of 2025! With that, I’m here seasonally, usually for the winters and summers when I’m not up at UD. A fun fact about me is that I love to travel! I am fortunate enough to be in a program that allows me to go abroad for two semesters — I went to Madrid, Spain in the Spring of my freshman year, and I will be going to Copenhagen, Denmark the Spring of 2024! I am beyond ecstatic and grateful for these experiences, and am so thankful that the Andres ladies are so supportive and accommodating!
